Blood Donors Needed
Connecticut Faces Shortage of Type O Blood
* Connecticut is currently experiencing a shortage of Type O blood.
* Type O negative blood is the universal blood type, which can be safely transfused to all patients, especially in times of emergency.
* As a result, the Connecticut Blood Services Region has cut shipments of Type O negative to area hospitals throughout the past few days.
* We need all O donors to donate blood.
We need your help!
Please make an appointment today and donate blood.
